A path through our energy centers, as they are recognized by the theory and philosophy of yoga.
Υ oga & Theater
This course is about exploring our body by traversing a path through our energy centers, as recognized by the theory and philosophy of yoga. As everything in the body is a chain, so this path from one link to another, from one center to another connects us to the totality of ourselves experientially.
By working with intention and conscious movement we will go deeper into the experience of our body and we will get to know the different zones of its expressiveness. We thus create an imaginary map of expression and senses and connect with the speakers and the frequency of each area.
Each meeting is unique, dedicated to the qualities and particularities of each center. Recognizing and awakening these qualities, we allow them to become the ground on which we improvise and create moments and scenes!
Our tools in these meetings include:
the theory of chakras
sound vibrations (mantra)
selected asanas (yogic postures) activation
spontaneous movement
free sound and movement improvisation
utilizing text as a stimulus for creation and self-knowledge
The course is addressed to:
For people who are in contact with yoga and want to explore artistic qualities on this basis.
To people who are in contact with the theater and want to explore new perspectives on the body and creative stimuli.
To anyone who wants to work with self-knowledge and feel creative in his body!
RAPPORTEUR
REGISTRATION - CONTRIBUTION
The Yoga & Theater course has a choice in contribution, as a form of mutual support and solidarity on our part, to be accessible to as many people as possible.
This contribution will therefore have the character of practical solidarity in a self-organized and self-financed theatrical group that closes 19 years of presence in the city of Thessaloniki.
We considered it better to give the option of the contribution,
so that each one responds according to his / her abilities.
