Elena Stamatopoulou presented her book
' The modern Greek theater in the years of the cachectic democracy'

in order to share thoughts and reflections
above in the post-war modern Greek theater
and its relation to the socio-political conditions of the time.
The presentation took place at Facta non Verba
and repeated in the social space Mikropolis.
The aim of the book was
to be a theatrical overview of the post-war period - focused
in matters of political ideology
and to contribute to the formation of our macroscopic image of the modern Greek theatrical landscape.
Recording of performances
of professional prose troupes
• was active in Athens
• from the end of World War II until the declaration
of the dictatorship of the colonels.
Drawing conclusions about repertoire policy
and to what extent it was influenced by socio-political conditions
of the season in the country.

Teacher in Secondary Education as Informatics
and Theatrologist. Created for three years (2013-2016)
the theatrical team of the Gymnasium LT Koufonisia, with which it participated in the International Youth Festival of ancient drama
in ancient Messina with the play Trojans by Euripides.
Founding member, director and actor since 2002
in the theatrical group Facta Non Verba with a presence in the city
the last 18 years with number of performances (38 to date) and political actions.
In 2003 he collaborated with The Living Theater in the creation of a political street theater. Attended a series of seminars
abroad on physical and political theater
and organizes the same acting and directing seminars, as well as open activation courses.
