In the context of the search of the Theater of Communication , this seminar initially aims at collecting questions and answers on some issues that concern anyone who is attracted by the art of theater.
• What is a role?
• How can I approach a role?
On whom does it depend on how I approach the role? From me, from the author,
by the director or someone else?
• What is my personal goal and how can it work in addition to the goals of others ?
• How can I achieve a role approach methodology
using all my expressive means as a stimulus ?
• How can I choose the acting method that suits me best ?
in the overall view of theatrical action? Is there one that meets the requirements or do I have to create my own ?
• How can I inspire collectively and act collectively
together with other people?
• How can I work simultaneously personally and collectively?
In short, in this seminar we will try to communicate,
to work together theatrically, each contributing his personal contribution in order to create a show that will be a collective creation.
All participants should have memorized a logical monologue of their personal choice and wear comfortable clothes,
because there will be intense physical activity.
At the end of the seminar, on Sunday at 20:00 we will present the show
which will result from the seminar.
For anyone who wishes, a certificate of participation can be given.
It should be noted that the seminar is addressed to actors and directors, professionals
and amateurs, teachers who want to use the tool of theater
and for those who are interested in getting to know theatrical art in depth.

Elena Stamatopoulou is a graduate of the Theater Department of the School of Fine Arts, AUTh. in the direction of Direction and Dramatology-Performance.
Doctor of the Department of Theater (the elaboration of the doctoral dissertation was done with a scholarship
from the State Scholarship Foundation) ._ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ A graduate of the postgraduate program
"Historical Research, Teaching and New Technologies" of the Department of History at the Ionian University.
Teacher in Secondary Education as Informatics and Theatrologist.
Created for three years (2013-2016) the theatrical team of the Gymnasium LT Koufonisia,
with which he took part in the International Youth Festival of Ancient Drama in ancient Messina
with the play Trojans by Euripides.
Founding member, director and actor since 2002 in the theatrical group Facta Non Verba
with a presence in the city for the last 18 years and a number of performances (38 until today)
and political actions. In 2003 he collaborated with The Living Theater on the creation of a political street theater. She attended a series of seminars abroad on physical and political theater and also organizes acting and directing seminars.

Thursday 22 and Friday 23 March: 18.00-22.00

Registration + Contribution: 60 Euros (50 for students and unemployed)
Venue: Facta Non Verba, 18 Valaoritou on the 7th floor. Entrance by Leontos Sofou 20.
As a team, we decided in the context of solidarity to provide two seats for free for any people who really want to participate, but their finances in no way allow it. First come first served.
