Whirlings of the Soul
Dance and Acting
in Dialogue
3day
workshop
An experiential workshop that combines contemporary dance, acting, and spirituality, inspired by the tradition of Mawlawiyya.
Using movement, improvisation, and meditative connection as tools, participants will explore the dynamics of expression through the body and soul.
The workshop encourages creativity, self-awareness, and energy exchange, offering a unique experience of artistic and spiritual connection.
Discover your inner balance and connect with others through art, movement, and vibration.
Inspired by the philosophy of Rumi and the Sufi tradition, the workshop incorporates the whirling motion of the dervishes as a means of spiritual elevation and connection.
The dance, as taught in the tradition of the whirling dervishes, symbolizes the union of the spirit with the divine, an act of transcending the self and connecting with the greater whole. Through this tradition, the workshop offers a unique way to explore your essence and deepen your relationship with the body, soul, and universe.
